no ipod volume

My ipod is now synching right and you can see it playing on the display but there is no sound. The ipod volume is all the way up as is the stereo. Any idea? Im sitting at the dealer now and they can't seem to figure it out.

Is the iPod connected via USB, Aux In, or Bluetooth?

If connected by USB, on the radio can you change the source to USB?

Which Ipod are you using?

For some reason, my iphone 3gs didn't seem to take. However my 5th gen ipod works fine with the car.

lol, just realized it's a 5th gen ipod in my 5th gen camaro.

Ipod touch, seems they are going to order a new control module. Hopefully that doens't take to long and will fix the problem.

If it's going through the USB port, mine doesn't care about the volume of the ipod. The stereo controls the volume. I also never see the sync screen. Sounds like them replacing the controller may be the best bet to get it working.
