We like to overdrive the rear allowing us to keep a bigger front pully for better grip.If you have the funds for an 8 or 10 rib system that would be a plus...If you need any help give us a call and we would be glad to help

Looking to squeeze another ~20rwhp out of it on 93 gas. I am considering converting to an 8-rib system with either a standard crank and a 3.2” jackshaft pulley or a 10% OD crank and 3.4” jackshaft pulley.

Would the ~20rwhp be achievable with either of these purposed changes?

Is one configuration better than the other?

Would the 60s/BAP be adequate?
Out of those to options, I'm not sure it will matter if you go to an 8 rib system .. with the larger crank pulley, there will be less chance of belt slip ..

Can't speak to fuel ... I have been told where I am at with my BAP, that I am on the ragged edge near 6k .. do you know how your fuel is holding up where you are now?

This is exactly why I went with the 8 rib setup with the 10% overdrive as I can run a larger pulley and still get more boost. With the 8 rib and 10% overdrive I was running a 2.8 pulley and had no slip. It is money well invested and did I mention I have a set for sale that are just like new that replaces every pulley on the front of the engine over to 8 rib.....LOL

At what point (boost wise) did you experience belt slip? Do you see any downside to turning all of your other accessories 10% faster? The n/a guys run smaller crank pullies to slow down the accessories and reduce the load caused by the accessories. Seems like you would want to run a stock or smaller crank pulley and pulley up on the back end of the blower to increase blower rpm....I had an underdrive crank pulley on my LS3, before my Maggie install, and I mentioned that. The Maggie boys made me change the crank pulley back to stock. Who am I to argue with the Xperts.

I have experimented with every size pulley there is. Without the 8 rib setup, there was slippage with a 3.2 pulley. There is no harm with a 10% overdrive and is a lot easier and cheaper way to get more boost and use a larger jackshaft pulley. Of course doing a COG swap on the rear is an option but it is very expensive. When my car was at 750hp to the wheels, I spoke with Andy at ADM Performance about doing the COG and he turned me off of doing that and suggested I use more nitrous instead.
