Rockford Fosgate P300-10 turns on but doesn't play music

Got it installed today, it turns on ( a blue light turns on when I turn the car on) but when I put the volume up on the music it doesn't do anything. It just stays on. Anyone have any suggestions to what might be wrong?

I can take pictures if needed

Double check your wiring.

How are you getting the audio signal into the amp? Is the amp gain set high enough? Blown speaker?

Not sure, I do have blown off rear speaker. Does that have anything to do with it? I am using that device that has 2 wires to connect to the stock radio. I didn't connect it, a friend did.

Respectfully, you are in over your head, take it to a car audio place and give them an hours labor....

^ What he said. It sounds like your friend wired the signal input wrong, or the gain is too low, or the device is a cheap POS. I run an amp+sub from these rear wires through a Navone LOC without a problem.
