rhino , if ur up to it soon , i may send a intake out and let u port it and see what ur show. its hard to find those gains for the price of the hp u gain.

What Rhino is seeing is right along the lines of what we see as well. Some moght hit 18 or so, but figure 15 on average. You can easily ruin these as well since the composite is "sonic welded" together so if you try and take to much out you cause leakage between the runners and it results in less power than stock...and we see tons ruin them.

There is definately plenty of area to work on.

I had my manifold ported along with a cam installed at CPR . I took the leap of faith.

so is there a claim like all other ported stuff with these intakes. if ur not happy send it back type stuff. cause i would like to try it out and will get 3rd party testing done aswell. but i dont want to be out of 2-3 hundred and gain 1 rwhp.

seen alot of reviews on sc2150 stuff and ive yet to see 3rd party test showing anything close to 10rwhp on it much less 15 on a ls3 intake. ive seen alot of no gains and minimal gains there is accually a thread in the sponsors section .

Merc I'm getting mine done as we speak right now so I will be able to somewhat tell the gains on this. I'm also doing a few other things so it won't just be intake gains but should be interesting nevertheless.

I had a stock intake worked on for me, and it's about to be sent back to me. I'll keep folks posted but I'm not going to post any info until it's on and the car is re-tuned.
