HELPPPP!! 2014 SPOILER REPLACEMENT

HI guys and gals,

I have A 2014 Camaro SS (Blue Ray Met.) with a stock spoiler on it.

I Wish to replace it with a black "Blade" spoiler, the one I believe is on the Z/28

I went to the Chevy website and they said that this "blade" spoiler is for Camaros without a standard spoiler, due to hole placements being different.

Is there anyway to do this swap out? and if so how? does anyone have experience with this?

Any input would be appreciated .

You would have to remove yours and have the holes welded or filled and then drill new mounting holes for the new spoiler.

If you can find a local body shop they'll probably be able to do it for you for not a lot of money. They would remove the old spoiler, fill the holes (probably with bondo), paint the trunk, and then install the new spoiler. Probably a days worth of work depending on the temp.

I had a new bumper put on my G8 and my local shop painted it and installed it for me for $200.

you should probably just replace the trunk with a z/28 trunk and spoiler.

I have the same problem, I really wanted the blade spoiler, but it would probably be easier/better to buy a whole new trunk and a spoiler but I just won't spend that much money.
