Ooops
Ok, so I probably could have easily avoided this, but I was a little negligent and I let the battery die. Usually I start it up once every couple of weeks while it sits in the garage for the winter, but I've been pretty busy at work and I was traveling the last week. I came home and the weather was unseasonably warm, so I thought I would drive the Camaro to do my arrands for the day. When I tried to start it up. . . nothing, not even a click or an attempt to start. When I jump it and get power back to everything, am I going to have any issues (like CPU or electronics related) that I need to worry about?
If anyone can recommed a good trickle charger, obviously, I would appreciate your help for that.

I use the Battery Tender. Works great. It's about $50.

Starting it up periodically won't keep the battery charged.. Each start takes a lot out of the battery and idling won't charge it up. You need to drive around for an hour or more to replace the charge lost by sitting a month.
I agree that a trickle charger is what you need.

Same thing happened to me last weekend,I was starting it every 2 weeks or so. The last time I let it go 4 weeks, bad idea. I had so many lights & messages on the DIC,I had to reindex the windows & relearn the tpms. I'm still waiting for the compass to reset.I will be getting a battery tender before next winter.

A word of caution.... I used an cheap old trickle charger on mine the first winter, it seems it never shut off, just constantly trickled a certain charge to the battery.
When I ran the car the next spring, it acted weird, my trunk randomly popped open, I had slow turnover starts, had to get jumped twice, (embarrassing), finally, I had Ted do some work for me, he diagnosed the battery had been damaged. Took it back to the dealer and they replaced the battery under warranty. Lesson for me was spend a couple more dollars and buy an quality charger/tender.
