lol! i know what you mean...i commute from SA to dallas very frequently...when that toll road finally got finished i was LOVING it!......though its cheap, it still should be free (though when i get my DV tags on the car it will be for me at least) just because of how bad the road system is in austin. Then again....make it free and those crazy drivers will be there too i suppose.....

and that's why I drive the toll road... I dont care how much money it costs, its got to be less than the price of gas you pay while sitting in the stop and go traffic of I-35... living in Buda makes it easy for me... all I have to do is go one exit up and I'm on the toll road

we'll be on the toll road later today when we head to the state fair in Dallas

Its pouring up here in dallas (im here now) so your state fair turnout is probably not gonna be that great (just my guess).

And that is true about the cost of gas....its only 7.50 to travel the entire toll road (or maybe 6.00 still...they added that txtag only toll on the toll 45 section of it and i dont know if its working now...it wasnt last time i took the road)

I live in Kyle and make a lot of trips to Hutto and that area on my Hog. I hardly ever stay on 35 anymore. I jump on the toll road and enjoy the sights and lack of bad drivers. I swear every time I go through downtown someone tries to run me into the divider.

i used to work downtown austin and traffic was bad. found that if i got in the left lane and stayed there the level of drama was greatly reduced. i love the toll road. i've left the airport at 5pm on friday and beat my wife home. she works off parmer.
