Road Atlanta

Congratulations to Cameron for another pole and another win today at Road Atlanta.

The Mid-Florida Camaro Club and ACE5 Camaro Club had a Camaro Corral at the race this weekend. Saturday we met with Cameron and got the up close tour of the car, and he also came up and hung out at our corral for a while.

The race today was awesome, and Cameron was unbelievable. He lead flag to flag, and had a 5 or 6 second lead within a couple of laps. A late race restart with 2 laps to go bunched them back up, but he was still able to win by a bunch.

I highly recommend going to see this series next year if you can, and they still have one race to go this year in Daytona.

Thanks! It was really cooling seeing everyone and having the cars there. It was a great group of people and hopefully we can do the same thing next year! Hope everyone enjoyed it and will see everyone again soon.

Daytona should be huge! So come check it out

I told the guys from the camaro club that came to Atlanta that I would post some video just so everyone can see what it was like full speed. Enjoy!

Not exactly sure but they should be pretty close. Howe makes the molds from a stock camaro and just makes it fit. So the fenders are flared to fit our big tires and wheelbase is 105in.

We actually run a restricter plate that keeps the horsepower around 500hp. We run the LS3 with a truck intake, headers, and get cold air from right in front of the radiator along with a light weight flywheel and 7.25in double or triple disk clutch.

Do you guys get to run stock appearing, or are you limited to the stock internals?

Sorry forgot to mention we run an ASA camshaft. Katech built our engines I ran the last 2 season and not once did I have the motor pulled in my car other than to just get gone through in between seasons. As far as internals I'm not exactly sure what we are allowed to run. I think it's strengthened but has to be stock weight internally.

Cameron,

Saw you (on TV) running the Continental Tire Series race at Daytona! Was that just for that race or are you running it for the entire season?
