Question v6 tuning

OK so I have the tune from trifecta and I was wondering if the rumor was true about a update for the tune. I heard that they was going to lower the sensitivity of the knock sensor to gain more timing. But I'm not sure just thought I'd ask.

Nope, that project was scrapped because of the member testing selling his camaro and Vince not having enough evidence that it would help. They were about to finally test it back to back to see the change but the member sold his car so the testing was scrapped.

I can see where it would not make good financial sense for Trifecta to continue to improve their base tune. They really don't have any solid competition and with the new LFX engine I am guessing that there wont be any in the future.

Actually, Last I heard HP Tuners has already released the beta tuning software for this car. They were actually looking for a local Camaro that would volunteer to see what improvements needed to be made... If this really is the case its safe to say I'm excited.

We're actually working on a few things for these cars....

HPTuners coming out with an answer to us or not isn't a concern. People that want to go with HPTuners were never going to buy a tune from us anyway. We want to make the stuff that you guys want. One of the biggest issues we have with these cars is intake tuning. Almost all the intakes out there set codes and require major adjustments to the MAF. Well... we're working on a fix for that. Can't say much more than that yet.
