I ran my Camaro for the first time last night at Qualcomm stadium street legals. The fastest was a 8.5 @ 93mph in the 1/8th mile with a passanger. No matter how I drove the car I couldnt get it to stop spinning at the top of each gear. The 8.5 run was with traction contol ON. Looks like it is time for some Drag radials.

2010 Camaro RS/SS LS3/M6

JBA LT, Rotofab CAI, Seabring custom 2 1/2" Cat back, JBA cat delete, Thunder Racing cam, Cunningham Motor Sports Tune, BMR trailing arms. 450RWHP/418RWTQ

i was there last night to for the first time but i couldnt really connect either for some reason. my best time was 9.3 at 78 mph and i know it can be way better than that

It is a cool place to play but they dont prep it.

yea i noticed that b/c ive never spun that much in my life when trying out my car and it jus would take forever to hook

That's why you wanted DR's last night, lol. You should of said you were going to Q I would have met you there.

Good runs! Your car is very fast but your ET was slow. I do 8.2 in the 1/8 at Irwindale in the Sliverado and 7.7 in the Camaro. But, you MPH is higher so you are a 11 sec Camaro with traction. When I did the 7.7 it was @ 92.51mph. My best in the 1/4 was 12.0 so that is why I think you have an 11 in yours.

You must have been spinning them pretty bad.

11's is what I was thinking. It was boiling the tires but it was cool to get it out there in it. My drag car is a 67 El Camino that runs 10's but i cant drive it to and from the track so it was cool to be able to do that.

I would agree with everyone else in this thread. You definitely have a lot more in that car and you're not putting down the times you should be...but it's mostly because the Q isn't an actual, prepped track. It's pretty much just a parking lot.

Yeh, for 1/8 mile tuning I usually go to Irwindale as it is prepped pretty good most of the time. My best times have been there compared to Fontana mostly do to the better DA.

Put some DR's on that thing and let her rip. You will have yourself an easy 11 sec 1/4 DD that you can drive to the track and back. Then squeeze some and hit the 10's and drive home, lol.

You need a better prep track. I was able to do 8.0 @ 95mph on street P Zeros
Just had to go easy on 1-2 shift. I turned everything off. Try doing that. Traction control kills too much timing to stop wheel spin.
