Wife said its time to clean out the garage, so I'm selling my bike.
I had back surgery in '08 so it's sat in my garage since the winter of '07 with the one exception being me riding it two miles from my old house to my new one. I'm the 2nd owner, first was a Marine who bought the bike new, then got shipped to Japan so it was in storage for years. When he finally transferred back, he sold it to me to pay for damages he did to his roommates car in '06. So, in its long life, it's racked up a whopping total of 12,226 miles. That's right, less than 800 miles a year for the last 17 years. I had a full tuneup done prior to parking it in '07. When I drained the tank, I did not drain the carbs so they will need to be cleaned, also it looks like the seal on the left fork may need to be replaced. Tires, breaks and lights are in very good shape. It has a Yosh RS-3 pipe and a larger rear sprocket to give it a little more torque (I'm over 200 pounds). I also installed low profile rear LED turn signals. The battery was replaced either last year or the year before and a new tender was installed. I'm also including an Alpine Star riding jacket (med or large), HJF helmet (small, matches the bike), tinted windscreen (never installed and still in the original bag) and the maintenance manual. I've looked all over and not seen a cleaner bike anywhere this price range, most are high mileage beaters and most are more expensive. I got two quotes to clean the carbs up so I'm taking that off the price. This bike has never been downed! I have a clean and clear title, no salvage or claims ever made on it. Here are a couple of crappy phone pics from last night after I unburied it. $1800 It is currently listed on Craig's list. If you want any more info let me know. It's priced to move before I change my mind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'd sorta have to be skeptical about the previous owner telling ou it's never been down. Plastic might be OEM, but I notice the tank has no OEM markings. I had over 65k on my 95 F3 when it was stolen in 97 and its an awesome bike.

The bike has zero decals. The only thing on it is a "tank pad" to keep from rubbing the paint off with the button of my pants/jacket zipper.
When a bike goes down, it tends to get road rash on the case, frame, bars, etc. this bike has none. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
