Sorry to hear of your loss. It's such a hard time when you lose a pet, even a year later. We lost our best friend about a year ago also. It amazes me when people would say "It's just a dog", or "Why not just get another one?". Those people obviously don't know the true bond and love shared with an animal. I'm glad you had 11 years of that joy.

Tomorrow is 2 years since we lost our best friend, Soprano (Prano). We think of you everyday and miss you like crazy!! You live in our mind and heart every minute of every day.

While we are sad Soprano is gone, the wife and I have finally begun the search for a new dog. We cannot wait for a dog to light up our lives again and give us many years of joy like Soprano did.

We love you Soprano, AKA -Prano!

Figured I post today as I am not sure I'll be on tomorrow.

This brought tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. Made me think of my "sisters" dog who was really the family pet before we each moved out. He is nearing his time very soon. Ive always related better to animals. Like when will smith dies at then end of I am ledgend, eh. When his dog died It took everything I had to choke back the tears. Marley and me, I didnt kniw it was an old yeller movie, so here I was on an airplane balling.... im sorry to hear this. He looks adorable.

So sorry for your loss!! We have an almost 4 yr old black lab/rottie cross. We adopted him when he was about 4 months old from a coworker who couldn't handle the mess a pup makes. I NEVER wanted a dog, I love them, just didn't want the responsibility of one. Well, this guy adopted me over everyone else. He's 120 lbs of pure joy, happiness, goofiness and insanely kind and smart. He's also protective of our home and our family!!

I absolutely can not imagine my world without him, my heart aches for you as I know one day the time will come when he too will leave us. It is absolutely amazing how a pet can know when all is not right and do what they can to make you feel better, just by being quiet by your side. They just know....
