Angry Problem pairing iPhone with MyLink

I just got a 2013 2LT with mylink and nav last Saturday. When I try to pair my phone the phone and car see each other, but the phone never pops the window to put in the pairing code. The bluetooth icon lights up, but the phone isn't available. Also, the bluetooth icon kept being lite even after I turned off bluetooth on my phone. I turned off the car, went into a store, came back out and tried to delete the phone, but get a message 'bluetooth was busy' The same phone paired with my 2010 2LT I traded in and with my 2010 Enclave. Anyone else have any problems pairing a phone? I'm taking it back to the dealer today.

Did you delete the old car out of your I-Phone? I had that issue with my old Camaro still being seen when trying to sync to new car. Had to delete old car out of I-Phone before it worked.

I just did, however the new car still says 'bluetooth busy' when I try to delete the phone to re-pair it. I suspect there is something wrong with the bluetooth module.

My 2013 is also having problems with my IPhone 5, It won't answer correctly, doesn't always pair with Bluetooth, and I usually have to try twice to get speech recognition to work (the first time I never get the "beep"). GM isn't of much help, does anyone know how to keep the firmware updated on the radio? Is there a site I can visit to see if I'm even on the latest version?

I also had trouble pairing my wife's iPhone, but was able to pair my GS3. The only thing I did was restarted the iPhone & then it paired without any problems.

Here is a link that was helpful to me.......hope it helps you?

The 'bluetooth busy' message when trying to drop the phone makes me believe there is a problem with the car. Dropping at dealer tonight. Luckily I have another car to drive while they fix it. My 2010 2LT worked great.

Mine pairs with my 2010 Enclave and my past 2010 2LT. My brother also has one and dit pairs with his 2012 LaCross. What I saw on the apple site was a problem with bluetooth music streaming, not the phone features.

I had to power off and reboot my iPhone 4 to get rid of the Bluetooth busy indication. After that, no problems with phone, car, or music.

I am also having an issue with the phone part on my iphone 5 with the new 2013 2LT MyLink Touchscreen. I had no issues in my 2011 Camaro. Somebody please help us! Also, I was wondering as someone stated about software updates. How do you check for updates. It says to insert USB or something.

I picked up my car after getting back in town and they said they 'reset everything' to clear the bluetooth busy problem. I deleted the old Camaro from the phone like someone else suggested and it paired and I can make and receive calls. Also, my phonebook now appears in MyLink. My car was a special order and built the last week of October.

iPhone 5 / MyLink issues

I got my 2013 Camaro 1LT a couple days before Christmas. Initially had no issues, but after a couple of days when giving a voice command, it just couldn't understand me. I would say my wife's name that's in my iPhone, but the car/phone just couldn't understand. Next day, never had a problem. Now I'm having issues with the MyLink just dumping my paired device. That's happened twice in the last two weeks. Anyone else having this issue? Not sure if it's specific to iPhone5 or not.

Go to the dealer and get the update, its not a fix all but it fixes 99.9% of the issues out there.
