New 2012 V6 engine/exhaust will sound better?

I'm just curious if the new V6 engine will sound better than the old one. Anyone think it will be different?

May sound different since they are changing the manifold. But it will never sound like a V8. Part of the V8 sound is the mechanicals of 8 cylinder firing order.

Damn people always jump all over someone that ever asks about V6 sound. He asked if it would sound different, didn't see anything about V8 in there, wow.

A V6 CAN sound GOOD. My old G6 sounded great and I got compliments on it all the time. I agree the stock V6 could sound a little more open (which is why I'm currently saving for an MRT exhaust) , probably what he's gettin at, jeez.

Exactly the OP just asked if it would sound different maybe a little deeper or something like you said he did not ask if it would sound like a V8 geez at this point I am so fed up with the V6 V8 crap maybe they should just stop making the V6 Camaro all together since we get no respect.

unless the cylinder displacement is significantly larger, i doubt it. Must find a good exhaust since you won't be able to add aftermarket headers on this one.

Nope. It is still going to sound like a Honda with even flowmasters on it. I had 2 V6 Mustangs and tried Flowmasters, Magnaflows, full dual exhausts, and they still sounded like ricers. After that, got a GT and it was pure music.

Should have bought a V6 Camaro then and added the MRT's. Does not sound like a ricer to any who have heard this system.

Remember people no V6 is EVER going to sound like a V8. However, you can make a V6 sound good.

Well your first mistake was the mustang...... CAMAROS don't sound like ricers with magnaflows on. But maybe mustangs do....
