Jannety did a dyno comparison (same day, same car) over a year ago of the various intakes that were available for the LLT (no Vararam at the time) and the Injen had the best power and best A/F ratio.
We are also talking about a different engine here. I wasn't saying Injen is not gonna work at all but he dosent want half ass parts and if you read around I think CAI, Roto-Fab, and Vaaram have one the contest, thats all I was saying FreshKicks just wants top of the line products and I gave him what the LFX top of the line products are. I dont know to much about the LLT engine (obviously)

Yes, I am aware of that. My post was just a direct response to a direct question he asked me about mine.

Really wish a company or company's would offer high performance cams and Hi flow heads. I remember my 300ZX. There were so many parts you could get for that 3.0 litre engine. Maybe one day

In time they will come out. If you think about it the car just came out speaking in relative time and they focus more on V8's but once they do everything for the V8's they do everything for the V6's

The 300ZX was a dog compared to the LFX. There was plenty of room to make improvements, I think it made 220HP? The Turbo made 300 hp, or 100 hp per litre?
Well with nearly 100 hp per litre, and even closer to that with simple and fairly cheap intake/exhaust mods, I would be curious how much more power a regular aspirated 3.6 motor can make. I bet not a lot without nitrous/turbo/superchargers.
Cams/heads are $$ especially with labor, at some point you have to calculate hp added per dollar spent. When you hit $100 or more, that is VERY pricey. I would guess exhaust and intake are around $30 per hp, and since they compliment any other mods, they make perfect sense as first mods. Ripping apart 25-35k cars engines under warranty is also iffy IMO. And turbos/nitrous are warranty busters for sure. Food for thought.

Colin, have you lost your drive to keep this updated? How about somewhat complete? There's a bunch of stuff you "could" add:

Catch cans

Short-throw shifters

Suspension upgrades from Pedders and Pfadt

Ported throttle body

Separate clutch reservoir kit

Just wondering.

There are a bunch of aftermarket brake and suspension upgrades, as well as over 100 wheels to choose from listed on The Tire Rack dot com website (and, no, I have no connection with them).

I would consider those to be performance upgrades as well.
