vararam 1le compatible?

So I just bought a used vararam off the classified area of this site from an SS owner, do any other 1le owner have a vararam installed? likes/dislikes? Any problems with the install?

Maybe it would fit if you changed your radiator.

It will fit, but the radiator has to be adjusted and will permanatelly lean...not an easy mod

I think you have to lean back the radiator on all Vararam installs. The water neck may be in the way?? That's what I hear.

2013 moved the radiator cap, it will not fit. Also Vararam did not make an over the radiator for a 2013+ since they said the MAF's are to sensitive now and will stall the car with ram effect air being pushed in.

Dont bother waiting any longer, you'll never get it, lol.

The only way to run a Vararam in a 2012+ 5th gen is to swap in a 2010-2011 Rad.

Vararam wrote to me, that they are working on one to fit the 2013+ models.

Like the others wrote, the one you have now will not fit at all.

I called Vararam about a week ago. They said 2012-2014 will be available beginning or middle of March.

I'm going to hold off on the CAI purchase, just to see what Vararam brings to the table for my '13.

It will fit, but only by permanatally modifying the radiator. Folks have made it work, but it's a process and looks odd.

I think it falls in the category of shouldn't be done, not it can't be done
