Daily drivers..

Picking my SS up on Tuesday! It'll be my daily driven car.. I mean if there's a bad snow storm I won't go out or ill use someone else's car (family).. Do many people have the camaro for everyday? Is it a bad car to drive year round, etc?

I drive mine every day, for now. Once my son gets his finances together and can finish paying to get his car out the ship, I will go back to using the Z28 as the DD.

Anything that's different driving the camaro as a DD? Rain issues or cold weather?

Get snow tires. They just don't work in the snow lol.

Drive mine everyday, I haven't had any issues, just get a good set of tires. I run General G-Max AS-03 and I can't say enough good things about them. A set of tires can make a big difference.

Mine was a daily driver for 28,000 miles. Drove in light snow twice, in heavy snow once, with the Pirelli P Zeros, which are summer rated. Stay the heck off of bridges before they salt them. That was scary. But once everything is salted it's not much different than driving in the rain. Even in heavy rain you need to take it easy. I cannot explain to you how much power the LS3 has. So driving in the rain requires some caution. After your first couple of trips through the rain though, you'll get a feel for it, and adjust. No big deal.
