V6 z28

Apparently this is old news but the 2014 z28 is going to come with the ls7 or twin turbo v6... At least that's what us weekly and a few other resources are saying. Thoughts an opinions? I own a v6 so obviously I'm not trying to start a v8 vs v6 thread bash. Personally I don't like the idea I feel like if your building a camaro that's designed for the track it needs a v8.

Any links to where it's published that the Z/28 will have an optional Twin V6? Because I don't believe it for a second.

Not what I heard....It's gonna be a V-6 in the base model Z/28, or possibly a turbo I-4, then as production and demand increase other engine options may become available....LS-7s are just too much of a gas guzzler and will be too expensive for the average Camaro Z/28 buyer....my $.02

What, the Z/28 is 60K+ I doubt fuel economy would be a big deal breaker.

Actually I do have a link ill find it but apparently it was from December 2012 I saw a few other sites saying it too. I see now that it wasn't true (thank god) I just was looking for info online on my phone and saw like 3 postings anout a v6 z28. Should have done more research before I opened my mouth.

Just type v6 camaro z28 into google you will be amazed at just how many sites said this was going to be an option. Lesson learned: only use c5 for camaro information not the Internet

No worries, man. There was lots of speculation before it was officially introduced.
