Somewhat Annoying Back Seat Problem!
This may not be a problem for everyone, but living in San Francisco, which is built on huge hills, Nikki and I have come across a somewhat unusual problem.
Nikki was going down a very steep hill in the Pacific Heights area, and as she hit the breaks coming to a stop sign, we heard (and felt) a loud thud! The back seat folded down! (it is supposed to fold down so you can get into the trunk) We put it back up, but then it fell down again on the next block! The rest of the day it was fine, no problem on regular hills, or even when stopping hard. But when I drove it earlier tonight, I went down another steep hill and it happened again! So, I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, or knows of a solution. I doubt this will even effect too many people because it only happened on really steep hills. Just putting it out there. |

Sounds like the seat latch isn't properly adjusted. Have it checked out by the dealer.

You need to make sure it was latched. The seat has a latch on it for this reason. The little strap on the LH side of center at the top of the seat is the latch release.
I think if you just give it a little push in the center, you should hear it latch and be all set.
