Thanks TonyNo did my footwell lighting today took about an hour to do.

Also thank you CyberGreyConvertible for the link to the video, it helped.

May have to adjust the lights a little to see how the lighting effect is tonight at work.

I went with Oznium blue 5050 SMD's one on each side, depending how it looks may add one more to each side.

Above the gas pedal are some wires. Look for the gray wire( done light). Use a T connector and tap into this wire. It will work just like the dome light. A little hard to get to, but it works fine. The ground can be attached to a screw you'll find on the side of the center tunnel.

Does anyone know what the BCM X7 connector (2013 2SS) uses for terminating the target gray wire? I would like to install a jumper between it and its insert location in X7, connecting from the jumper to my Footwell LEDs. Just my personal preference to keep the OEM harness intact. I need some G2 for getting the right pin and socket contacts (and crimper). Your help is much appreciated.

Best thing to keep your harness intact is to buy a 4 pack gauge jumper harness from SJMAUTOPROD and use that.
It has the wires you need and its plug and play.

My wires all have black cloth wire bundling over them. Can you provide the orientation your first photo is so I can strip the correct bundle? Thanks.

Okay. I've read through most of this thread. I'm having the hardest time locating the dome light wire so I can connect my door sill lights.

My BCM modules's grey plug does not have the grey wire! But my dome light functions normally. Is there an alternate location the dome might be plugged in to the BCM?

The gray wire for the dome light is just above the gas pedal. Use a T wire splicer to connect the footwell wire to it.

Will it be wrapped in the black fabric?

No, it's not wrapped. It will be there with other colored wires which are not wrapped. I did mine about 6 years ago. There is a screw on the left side of the console tunnel to ground it. I think you need to take the carpet up to find the screw.

I've located where to ground it, but I can't find any other non-wrapped wires behind the brake pedal...

It is the one with the tap already on it
