Not to bring this post back from the dead but where did you guys get the lower grille? I've seen quite a few places have it and the price has been all over the place. Seen $250 - $350 for the whole kit.

Thanks,

BS

Hey BS, I ordered mine (lower replacement cut out style for V6, without the ducts on the side) from afterthoughtsauto.com for $165 shipped. However, I ordered this on July 13th and they still have not shipped it as of yesterday. I am periodically checking my email for a status update. I will let you know when this changes.

Has anyone else ordered from the same site, and if so, did you have to wait this long? If my status hasn't changed by the time I get home from work tomorrow I am calling this place to see what's taking so long.

I did have to wait a long time for my door sills I ordered from chevymall.com, but they were on back order when I ordered. I am wondering if the same situation is occurring here, or if I have been ripped off. Anyone who ordered from afterthoughtsauto.com please comment about your experience!

My piece just shipped yesterday, and I should have it by the 12th. After calling about it I found out that Street Scene was running behind in production, so don't be afraid about ordering from afterthoughts.

Can these ducts be installed with the stock grille if it is cut?

Yes you trim the stock grill and use two sided tape to install. It is a fast & inexpensive mod, anyone can do themselves.

+1

I'd really like to see it before I pull the trigger - I'm so afraid to cut out anything on the Camaro (big chicken here!)
