I have been in the Speed shop business for 25 Years, so I have seen the evolution of Supercharger systems from the beginning.

Whipple has always built a high quality Product and the only place they were lacking was tuning solutions, With SCT, Diablo, Superchips those days are over.

Whipple continues to raise the bar with bigger and Badder blowers.

They are the upgrade supercharger of choice of Ford Motorsport.

The top 3 supercharger companies in my opinion are Vortech, Magnacharger, and Whipple.

No particular order they are that close.

So the descission comes down to what you want out of you car and what is in your future of upgrades.

I would be happy to answer any of your question.

Ted.

Thanks a bunch Ted.
I used to think tha I wanted Mad power!
But I think I've outgrown that now.

What I want out of my baby is street drivability, that still pushes me hard into my seat. Idk if thats something doable. Im not looking to break more than 550 rwhp.

The whipple 2.9L with nothing else done will get you past that. We made more than that with the stock exhaust and stock airbox.

I've already got the CAI cai and an exhaust in the works.
The only other thing is that I hear the L99 lifters are crap, and should be replaced with more stronger lifters. How does that effect VVT? I dont really care about the AFM

The 500 Mark is Easy with the L99 and Boost, The Maggie is a Proven performer easy install.

You will need a Maggie Kit, A pulley upgrade, Cold air intake, Long tube headers and my custom tune for a Very Reliable Package that you can drive 100,000 miles.

To change lifters you have to pull the heads, we have the parts you need to do that if that is the way you want to go.
