bug and tar remover bad for paint
Sorry if this has been asked already, did a search and not finding a clear answer. Got some nasty bug guts on the front of my car that dont come off with normal good hand washing. Are the Bug and Tar removers bad for your finish? Anything else work better

I've also used goof off safely on paint. Not so much on touch up paint though. It will remove touchup paint. I suspect the tar and bug remover is not safe on touch up paint. |

If that doesn't work, get some clay bar, and I promise with some work that will take it right out and make your paint nice and glassy all at the same time. And, I keep wondering why bugs are so stupid as to not fly above the large moving objects that look threatening, like a 2010 Camaro. I personally wouldn't want to get hit by a 3800 lbs beast!

It's safe. But you have to use it on a cool surface and make sure you rinse it off good.
If you're that worried Rain-X makes a bug and tar spray, it's like a gel that you spray the bug down with first, then you wash your car. Works great.
