There is no weight difference between the stock rotors and the Brembo Sport rotors. You need as much metal as possible to dissipate the heat. The sport rotor are made with better materials to last longer, reduce the chances of warping, cooler brakes and better stopping.

There will be no performance advantages between the drilled and slotted rotor during normal street driving conditions. One rotor will not stop your car in a shorter distance than the other. The differences show up when you are doing track days or any kind of parking lot races. The drilled rotors are an excellent choice for street driving and parking lot type events due to the fact they will run cooler then a non drilled rotor. If you are going to be doing laps on a road course and really building a lot of heat the slotted rotor is the way to go. The slotted rotors are less prone to cracking under the high temps of road coursing.

Drilled Rotor- Excellent everyday street use and parking lot races. Will improve braking over the stock rotor.

Slotted Rotor- Excellent everyday street use and road coursing. Will improve braking over the stock rotor.

The zinc look will wear off in the pad contact area of the rotor.
