wow whinny babies is all I can say.
the man is taking his time, NOT YOUR TIME, and not only his time but his free time which he could be spending with family, friends or just goofing off.

and all I hear is a bunch of pissing and whinning.. if you want a GD time table and or a for sure date ..

You can always take your frustrated ass out and just do the damn thing your self.. you spend your money.. which this not cheap.. I would bet Ofer has at least 3 grand not including his time into this project so far.. and a lot of hours..

sure you say he will get paid..
well then if you are sooo damn sure this is sooo worth it
GO SPEND YOUR TIME AND YOUR THOUSANDS AND DO IT..
THEN YOU CAN JUST SHUT THE F UP..

IT WILL BE DONE WHEN IT IS DONE.. GEEEZZ.
I FEEL LIKE IT IS 1ST GRADE AROUND HERE..

Ofer has a lot of stuff going on, we can't expect him to drop everything and work on this just because we want mylink. If you want to give this a try go for it, but until then be patient.

Just an FYI...

In another thread I saw GM customer service rep post refer to the Mylink in the '13s as the "Mylink 1." This is the first I had heard of this "1" designation. Did I miss something? It kind of makes you think there is a "Mylink 2" somewhere or on it's way.

Or it was just the rep not paying attention to what they typed.

What happens if he gets this all together and it does not work. How does he get paid then?

He would probably put a kit together that includes everything you need. Similar to his HUD and back up camera retrofit kits.

Oops I meant to say if it does not work but I don't tink he would be putting this together unless he was sure it will work.

Exactly, it's very possible that the electronics won't work...maybe it'd require some software hacking to do it...which isn't easy (that's why only 1 guy so far has figured out how to do it, and hasn't really released his stuff for the Camaro's yet).

I've gotta say though, I've been driving a 2013 Camaro V6 rental car all week, it's got the MyLink without nav...I like it a lot...the Pandora integration is cool. I'd be thrilled to have it in my car (though I'd really want it with nav as long as there's no subscription for that necessary)...there are aftermarket solutions too and they have their own issues...so I don't really know what to do lol. Sure do wish the rental was an SS/Stick instead of a V6/Auto though...I keep walking up to it and seeing a black Camaro with a sunroof, and as I sit in it I practically stuff my left foot through the floorpan forgetting that I didn't just sit in my own car lol.
