Rats!!! Does this mean I have to start answering 1-800... numbers on the phone? Looks like I get to hang up on a bunch of marketing people . . .

Sorry, I meant to add that I think this is awesome GM is doing this. I don't really want to break it by accident but I don't want to bag drive the car to test it either. Way to go GM . . .

worst case scenario is it breaks and you call road side assistance and they bring it to a dealer to fix it. It will be alright as long as you dont hammer it.

i have one question - what is the problem ? i have 1670 mile on my ss and have had nothing happen - burn clutch smell a few times thats all - love my ss

First of all, Great job GM. It makes me feel better about my Camaro. I have contacted GM Customer Service and they had no idea what I was talking about with regard to these reported failures. They did open a file and said I would be contacted if there were any issues. I hope NOT to hear from them. In the mean time, I'm enjoying the ride.
