My 1988 Camaro

I have been reading this form for some time now and I thought I would try and post up some pictures of my Camaro. Its all stock except for the wheels and tires. It was repainted last spring. Hope you all like it

Sweet! That first picture ------- the centercaps, I tried to find some for mine, and they don't make the grey/silver ones with black faces. The only kind they make now are all black. So, that's what I had to go with.

hi, i used to have a 88 coupe 10 years ago. but what i don't understand is how come YOUR car has the same 'duck tail' rear wing that is on the IROC? mine had this very narrow wing that was only as wide as the rear hatch and it was raised up and had a integrated 'third brake light' in the middle.

mine was like that. i know your car is a 88 because 88 was the only year in the 3rd gen that had the word CAMARO in the lower rocker panel trim near the front fender and the rear fascia with a '' next to it. the only other rocker panel trim and fascia that was different was the ones on the IROC (the depression for the name badge was different from the base car than the IROC).

I have never changed the wing on the rear of the car. Thats how is has always been. I am sure it is the sport coupe model. How it ended up with an IROC wing I don't know, but I will take it

well ALL 3rd gen camaros up to 90 had the same 'ducktail' rear wing on the base, Z28, and IROC Zs. only the 91-92 Z28 had a different style wing. and the duck tail wing was different in 91-92 as well, the older rear wing had the third light in the middle the 91-92 cars had the third light inside the hatchback in the middle between the the mounting hinges. i am not sure why your wing is that style. I have a 88 camaro brocure and they only list 4 models for the 88 year.

88 sport coupe/t-top (no RS model for this year for some reason)
88 sport convertible
88 IROC coupe/t-top
88 IROC convertible

i truly miss that car, i have had a lot of them but the camaro, my 80 malibu coupe, and my 94 ford thunderbird were my best and most missed.

Your car looks great, much nicer than mine.

I own an 88 sport coupe, it has the small wing thats on the red car, my research shows it was only availible for part of 1988, on the sport coupe.
