Ok I'm going ahead and mailing in my pre-registration. I'm registering in the "non-voting class" but you can enter whatever class you like. I will be asking for, and including, payment for 2 dinner/auction tickets as well, (for Linda and myself). Anyone interested in pre-registering should do so as soon as possible as the $10. Discount is only good until registration forms are received, postmarked by the end of May... or is it May14th? ... and dinner/auction tickets are reserved for the first 200 requests. Pre-registration forms can be found on the ACA site here: http://www.americancamaro.org/images...gistration.pdf If you are wondering what form of payment to include with your registration, like I was, then please read the email I received from Karl Scheffy at the American Camaro Ass. _______________________ George, We would love to have you pre-register ..... it saves us time and you get to choose from more classes. We tried accepting credit cards - but the fees were too large for the small number of transactions we had. We have gotten Canadian cheques in the past with not problems - I just deposited 2 this week. Sometimes they are marked US Funds. Otherwise there is a monetary transfer fee from the bank. You could also use a normal Canadian cheque and increase the amount by the current exchange rate ( I don’t know what it is.) You might also group them and get one US funds check from a bank teller. I am not worried about a few cents one way or the other......just the good times. Karl Scheffy American Camaro Association 5786 Buckeye Road Macungie PA 18062 americancamaro.org _________________________________ I think I'll just send them a Canadian Cheque and add a few extra bucks for the bank exchange. Sounds like you guys are doing a great job on accommodations. I'm looking forward to this event. Please let me know who or how we have to pay for a room. George. |

Hey Guys...I booked a block of rooms at Hotel Carlisle...Check there website out...Lots of room for our cars , restaurants close by and the fairgrounds are 5 min away...Been talking to Hiney 1 giving him info...
I am going down on Thursday to visit all of show properly you need Friday & Saturday...Also a little note there is less traffic going down on Thursday...Also the rooms are given out on a first come first serve basis... So keeping us all together will be easier...For those of you who have never been to the Carlisle Fairgrounds the place is frigging huge...With vendors and show cars you pretty much need 2 days to visit...I got a block of 10 rooms so far...if i need to add no prob...I will keep in touch... |

The List: 1: RickRay = Rick & Rachael 2: Hiney1 = Gary & Cindy 3: Luckynuts = Dave & Karen 4: ACS Composite = Joseph 5: 010 Camaro SS = Bob & Roma 6: mrbrans5 = George & Linda 7: Hylton = Hylton 8: Camarorick = Rick & Joanne 9: Camaroincarolina = Jill 10: Christcringle = Christian & Sue 11: Bob is right...You will probably need Friday and Saturday to see everything. There is a guaranteed traffic jam on Friday afternoon! Going down sometime Thursday will eliminate a lot of stress. I know Rachael likes that idea! right Rick! Waking up on Friday am already there to go visit at the show is much better. You get that extra day to relax and visit the show properly. Rooms are $111/night (down from $137) OK I suggest a Thursday departure? I know it's one more night but it will be worth it! Bob and Roma are going down Thursday. Cindy and I can go Thursday! Who else? What do you guys think?

How long is the drive down, 8 hours? I'm good for leaving Thursday but I'd like to leave around noon.

Going down Thursday does eliminate lots of stress...That extra day
gives you time to visit the show properly...Remember traveling is around 8 hours...so traveling Friday and then Sunday does not give you much time to enjoy the show...That extra day is HUGE... "How am i doing" All the Carlisle events iv'e been to are truly awesome... |

Yeah eliminate the stress....always a good thing for me (Rachael).... does that mean we'll have an extra day to go shopping I'm in to leave on Thursday... try convincing Rick now We are off all of that week anyways, doesn't cost us workwise. The only thing is that I'm not sure the others leaving from Montreal will be able to leave on Thursday.. We'll see what happens Rachael..
