North Texas Camaro Car Club

Hey are there any Camaro car clubs in North Texas....specifically in the North West Ft. Worth region,Justin,Roanoke,Argyle? If not I am looking at perhaps starting one up. If anyone knows if there is or not let me know. Who would be interested by the way? Thanks guys!

I'm not sure of any existing, but I am definitely up for helping support a DFW area Camaro5 car club. I have many friends across a couple of other DFW car clubs (Dallas Nissan Enthusiasts (DNE) and G35Driver), which have experience with local marketing and networking. Although I'm usually just a weekend warrior, we have some great drives and meet spots we could leverage. I would love for someone to take point on discussions with Classic to try to get local sponsorship for maybe a quarterly meet, or maybe window decals or other schwag.

Like I promised! Join up, bro! I go up every October (except for this last) for the Dallas auto show (where everyone brings their Camaros).

Heck...that car club is too far for me too. Need something "in town"...if ya know what I mean.

I like the branches idea. There was someone else a while back talking about doing the same thing.

Thanks Tag....I knew you wouldn't let me down. I like the branches idea too....Have it seperated into regions like they do the districts here in Texas.....That would be cool. Hopefully something can come of it in the future.

I've been bouncing the thought around in a couple of threads since last year, but it sounds like we are finally getting some movement.

I spoke to my dealer on Thursday night, and Classic is having an unveiling the first week of May. Maybe we can all get together, and have our first local Camaro5 car meet there. I'm going to post the details in a new thread shortly.

I'm in Dallas near Love Field. I go to some of the Texas F-body club events, but most are a bit further than I like to travel for car stuff. Plano is just about my limit! And I never go east, just west! Herb at Classic talked to us about the Camaro thing May 4, 5, or 6. Sounds interesting.
