My guess is the Escalade was the main target, op's wheels were just a bonus that presented itself at the time.... |

Just by looking at the graffiti in the background, Gorilla locks would be my first mod. Sucks that this happened OP, but I definitely wouldn't have solely relied on security in a place like Newark to look after my car. Step your game up.

Sucks... Hope the bricks did not do to much damage to the bottom of your rockers. I keep telling myself to get the wheel locks.

I would love to know they stole the Escalade (assuming they had no keys)

Newark... There's your problem right there. Don't try to own anything nice if you have to live in the ghetto. That's one of the first rules you learn when you have to put on your big boy pants (big girl panties) and live on your own.
I don't know your situation or why you ended up in Newark, but as someone who has moved through many different and unfamiliar cities cold, I've found crime maps and simple "What parts of xxxxxx are ghetto" google searches have saved me from ending up someplace ghetto just because I thought it might have been a good deal. Quick search of https://www.crimereports.com/ and yeah... Newark just looks f*cked up in general. |

Get the Gorilla locks (20 per set) from the Apex guy Chase. Somewhere around $50-60 (Can't remember, its been awhile). Gives me a little peace of mind. It'll take a little while to get them off and makes the ordinary junkie walk away from them. You'll never deter a pro, but you can slow down 90% of the knuckleheads.
Stock tires are not cheap- cost way more then my Nitto's. I sold my set to a V6'r. They are somewhat in demand. I had no problem selling them. OP- you will need a more elaborate alarm/detection system living in the hood. Hell, you can be paged on some systems.

Hope it all works out well for you.
I have to believe that the Gorilla Locks will slow them down. I bought them, and hope they help. Good luck. Jim

You guys are thinking way too high. In a tire shop in the hood they would get about $50 a wheel with the tire. They will sell them double or triple that but that's it.
