I just bought ICE for my new baby and I can't wait to pick her up, hopefully this week and try out the ICE
the new version of NXT is much better than the original. give it another try you wont be disspointed

its an expensie try, but very worth it. goes on easy and comes off easy as well, no matter the temp.

with zaino, i would do it once a month or so. with meguires, or black box i do it every couple weeks... but thats cuz im picky.

IMO if you want to go the zaino route this is all you should need.

Z-AIO
ZFX -use this with ZAIO, ZFX will heighten gloss & slickness, and extend the durability of Z-AIO.
Z-CS
Z-7 car wash
Z-6 detail spray
Z-8 detail spray for a higher glossier shine on days you want to show the car.

also order some of their wax applicator pads (314, Z-APP-OZ6) , and Z-BBFT-3 towels to remove the wax with and also for drying the car. (truth be told, you should get a leaf blower to dry the car, works wonders)
Zaino awesome product but it doesnt fit with my lifestyle at all with 3 children and a wife who works a lot of hours and myself working 9-10 hours a day 6 days a week. So ice gets the call for the fact is super fast to use.

I use th NXT a it does a great job. My neighbor details cars for a living and he said he has used expensive waxs and days later they show acid rain effects. He said he didn't see the same thing with the NXT. Did my car yesterday and it took about 25 minutes. 6 steps of zaino sounds like too much time waxing and not enough driving. My $0.02.

!
Zaino isn't a wax. It's a polish. Here is the link to what I use. http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...roduct_Count=5
I mainly only use one product and it looks killer.
The Z-2 and the Z-5 are also great products.

No Problem... I used NXT for a while on my Acura, and amazing shine I agree. I use the ICE because its pretty quick and it shines well. I havent used the NXT 2.0 yet because I been using the ICE (hell it was given to me brand new) and you can use it in the sun which is good. I am thinking about trying the Zaino but it digs a lil deep in the pockets... but its good stuff.

I use the ICE once a week on the SS and my Acura and the water bead after rain usually runs right off.

water beads off when you use NXT 2.0...my clutz of a mom, dropped her open water bottle on the car ( glad i dont have my camaro yet ) and the water just ran away and off the car, didn't have to wipe at all...meguiars is good, might not last long, but it aint too expenive and it still gets the job done...plus, i dont mind waxing the car often

Be carefull of the wax and sealants that beed really good and dont run-off
These are the ones that will leave water spots if you dont dry it fairly quik.

Can you apply meguiars over zaino or is Zaino all you need? Ed has not been in the detailing thread in like a week.

I'll check that out next time. The NXT looked awesome though. I waxed it up, went to get some groceries at Harris Teeter. The sun was shining and the Camaro was looking absolutely awesome.

yes you can, though its not really needed. its extra insurance so your zaino's life is longer

with that said, zaino is a polish, and has a polymer that bonds with the clearcoat. for best results also pick up a mothers claybar or zaino clay bar and clay the car before hand. while its a new car, they still get crap in the paint from being shipped. especially if they have been on a train to get here. Rail dust if its on the paint will eventually rust, and you will see brown specs in the paint.
