I just received mine yesterday and I swear it feels like I have better response accelerating from a dead stop. Is it me or did anyone else experience this?

It's just you. AFM is not on from a dead stop, so this device has zero impact on take off. As I stated in a different post, this device has close to no impact at all on performance, nor is it maketed to.

What your probably feeling is the car breaking in and slowly starting to run the way it should.

Maybe so. As I just bought this 2 weeks ago and only just hit 300 miles last night. But I swear, it felt more responsive last night as I was trying to access into traffic from a parking lot.

The other thing is since you only have 300 miles I'm assuming you refilled with 93, correct? That will make a difference. You also need to do a fuse pull as you are in low octane mode unless you did a fuse pull. The only way to get out of low octane mode it to do a fuse pull.

But trust me, I did extensive testing on all 4 versions for Range, it's not the device you are feeling.

Yes, I have been putting 93 in it. Which fuse is it that I need to reset?

Nope, you'll be good to go. But if you ever put in a lower then 89 octane you'll drop back down and will have to do it agian.

Thanks - I had planned on nothing but 91-93 when I bought this.

Also, just want to state you will want a range afm if you do any exhaust work. I put the borla s type on mine. I took out the range just to hear it. The afm is bad news. Best 200 I have spent.

The Borla S is next on my list.

I guess I'm the odd one of the bunch. I noticed a loss of MPG when I had AFM tuned out. I saw a 1-2MPG loss (closer to 2) - The tune has been worth it though. City seems to be roughly the same (a slight loss in MPG), but the highway seems to have lost about a couple MPG.

Put almost 200 miles the past two days on a beach trip (Orlando-Flagler Beach-Orlando) - mostly highway (80/20) split and the first with my Range AFM disable plug. DIC reports I averaged 19.7 mpg. Car is still new and breaking in as it just hit 500 miles.
