Mine is driven. I bought it so i could have a fun car to go to long distance car shows, and it will be a DD in the summer. I have had the car from Oct-now and even all the weather around 30 degrees i still managed to put 1k on the clock. Hell i drove it to Pa in all the salt today. Car looked like crap but nothing a good wash cant fix. Plus it is more fun than my truck. Just cruising between 70-80, cant beat that.

I am lucky enough just to have one and I am dang sure going to enjoy it. I drive it everyday and my 8 month old son and I are loving it. When we go somewhere in the wifey's Malibu he seems to cry alot , but when we go in the SS he hardly ever does and seems happy as a pig in sh#t. We love this car and plan on driving it for yrs to come....

I'm guilty of not driving my car everyday, I have two other cars to drive so I can save the Camaro for good weather and cruises. The reasons I don't drive mine every day are listed below with gas milage not being one of them since it gets the bast milage of our four cars.

1. My work commute is close to 90 miles a day in bumper to bumper traffic, not fun with M6.
2. Parking lot at work is tight and my truck has been hit and run twice there in the last couple of years.
3. I waited a long time to get another Camaro and want it to last a minimum of 10 years so I'm trying to keep the milage at bay.

My car is three weeks shy of one year old and it has over 9,000 miles so it does get driven quite a bit for a non-daily driver. My plans if I still have the car in 10 years is to strip it down and turn it into a full-time auto-x car.

I bought mine mostly for weekend and vacation driving. If I get a wild hair I might drive it to work. But, with a 125 miles roud trip commute. It makes no sense to pay $33k for a car and drive it into the ground like this every day. Plus, when it's paid for it will still be worth something. Not completely ragged out and worth nothing. So, I leave the I5 experience to my Toyota Tercel with 240K+ miles on it. If it gets killed I can get another for $500-$2500. I can't replace the car in my signature below.

I have a DD hybrid and don't drive the Camaro unless the weather is nice. I also save about $75 in gas a week with my commute to work. I want the Camaro to still look new when it is paid for and when I retire. I don't expect it to be worth anything in 5 years, i just tend to enjoy a pristine car a little more. I also had 2 other Camaros in high school that were daily drivers back then so I know what it's like to drive these cars hard daily.

If you saw the movie "Gran Torino" that's me right there!

I drove mine daily for the first ten months and put 6,900 miles on it. Then I got lucky and got a substantial discount for a brand new work car. Now I drive the Camaro once a week and otherwise its parked and stored under a cover. Having a cool car that I can hang onto from new has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid, I'm not passing that up especially with new CAFE regs coming up. Let the B car accumulate the miles, its not like I didn't use the Camaro for a solid year.

Drive mine when I want, not because I have to. Too many door dingers, gravel trucks, construction, idiot drivers, mysterious flying debri, etc. As said previously, I'd like to have a nice car when it's paid off.

Live in new england, therefore the snow is killer up here..especially this year..no need to wreck the car and have insurance sky rocket. I love the camaro in the summer, and the wrangler in the winter..wrangler also goes out in the summer too..how could you not want to take the top off and the doors off..its equally asfun as the camaro!

+1. Mine is a DD and I want to drive it more than any other car. Even if I had a Lamborghini, I would still drive it as often as I possibly could (weather permitted).

Mine is my daily driver. I got my car in September 2009 and just went over 30,000 miles.
