What Lowering Springs with...

Hey guys,

I just order my wheel and tires 265/35/22 and 295/30/22.

Here is where I need help; I am trying to decide between the following lowering spring:

Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs 1.0 (front) and 1.3 (back)

Pi Lowering Springs 1.2 (front) and 1.4 (back)

I am trying to stay under $250, is there is some other good/cheaper option please let me know.

Thanks in advance...

I just installed the eibach pro kit and man they make all the difference I just love them .
I'd say go for eibach. Do u need any spacers with these wheels and tyres sizes?

How is the ride compared to the factory springs. Esp interested knowing how rough over pot holes, rough roads and dips.

As far as I know... no, but I guess I will find out shortly. I order the wheels and tires today, and hope to order the springs before the end of the week. My plan is to get them all installed and change/paint my breaks, within the next two weeks. Will post pictures when everything is completed.

Thanks for your feedback...

If you get a chance take a look at the BMR springs. We have a couple different options to choose from, here is what we ciurrently have available for the 2010+ Camaros.

1" lowering springs (SP019)
1.4" lowering spring (SP022)
1.4"/1" lowering springs (SP025)

If you do a search on here there a ton of BMR customers that have posted pictures and that are very happy with their BMR Springs. If there is anything I can help you with let me know.

I would suggest going with the BMR springs given your goals. They offer 1" and 1.4" options which we can mix and match. I would get the wheels and tires on the car before I choose a spring package however to make sure you have proper clearance for the drop you're looking to achieve. Please feel free to call, email or PM me with questions or for pricing. Have a good one and I look forward to talking with you!

Kind regards,

Provided the wheels have the proper offset, you shouldn't have a problem lowering your car with any of the springs listed. Personally, I like the Pfadt springs 1.25in all around, but they are about $50 more than your posted budget.

Seems like I will be going with Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs 1.0 (front) and 1.3 (back). There is not a lot of information anywhere on Pi Springs and the reviews that I have found are mixed at best. Will be ordering them tonight...

Manufacturing a cold wound coil is half the cost of a hot wound coil. Cold wound coils are great for motorsport, but in every day use will sag quickly compared to a hot wound coil. For daily driver use a hot wound coil is clearly superior. Value is determined not at the cost of the purchase but over useful life.

We have a DIY section that is very good and filled with most installs. A quick search there should bring up everything you need.

You can use our instructions located HERE to install your springs. We list all of the torque specs, wrench sizes, and alignment specs you will need for the installation. Also listed is a complete guide to the how's and why's of reclocking your bushings before alignment. Have fun!
