Oshawa Camaro Team:

I can't say enough about the quality of workmanship and pride that the Oshawa family has displayed in building these fantastic Gen5 Camaros. I thank you all for a job well done and wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Nobody does it better!

The only remaining question is, How do I get my hands on VIN # 1850?

Sincerely,
Jim Palmer

Words cannot express the gratitude we at Camaro5 have for you and your team in Oshawa. You've connected with the buyer like no other auto maker has ever done and I certainly hope you enjoy the future rewards of the life long friendships you've made and a legacy to look forward to in retirement.

I know we will always look for new places to meet face to face, whether it be CFests or other events and all I can say is it's going to be a blast looking back on all of this. The 6th Gen is already a success due to the ball Oshawa started rolling. We will never forget where the return of the Camaro started.

From #23 to #1850 and it's place in the Heritage Museum...

Many thanks to the Oshawa team.
You guys knocked it out of the park.

I'm a little saddened by the departure of the 5th gen.
Sure the 6th gen will be great, but there is/was just something special; something magical about the 5th gen.
I'm not sure the 6th gen has captured it. I know it's not 0-60 time, or 1/4 mile times, or lap times, or even sales numbers. It's more like a spirit. The spirit of what a Camaro should be. The 5th gen nailed it.

It will be missed.

Thanks Oshawa team. Great job building my SS that I ordered back in June of '09. Besides
normal maintenance , I've spent $3.00 for a tail lamp bulb- Can't get much better than that.

On my second gen 5 Camaro, the first a 2011 2ss/rs l99 Vert, the second my 2013 2ss/rs coupe with more mods than I list.... Both have never had a problem every requiring it really to go back to the dealer unless it was just for some recall to improve things...... Which the Vert top was 100% perfect, and the switchblade key.....Well they are not getting that back...LOL Build quality....exceptional, design awesome.

I love my Crystal Claret Pearl Tri coat 2ss/rs LS3 coupe with moonroof, Npp dual mode exhaust, foot well lighting, & heritage grill just as delivered, and its mine for life!

The true measure of a cars worth is the value to the owner, and when they invest more money in the car not just to correct problems but to improve on what they view as a work of automotive art well that's a sign of a good car. When they love the design and function and keep the car for life is a sign you made something great worthy of carrying its lineage and a proud example of American muscle/ Canadian muscle as we share...... lol WHOOOWAHHHHHH.... Good Job

Where do you even start to thank all these people from the beginning to the end of the last 5th Gen. rolling off the line in Oshawa. Between going to the BBOMG so many times. The Woodard Cruise. The motor plant in St. Catherines.

Our club of Upstate C5 started in Central N.Y. And has members in numerous States & In Canada. I have met so many people in the last 5 years since buying my Camaro.

My son got me to buy my Camaro at the age of 65. When he said dad why don't you buy on I thought he was nuts. The next day I went down to order one and spotted an IBM 1SS/RS that was all it took. You can ask anyone that knows me I have a very bad mod addiction. Seems I do something to this vehicle every year including this year. I will never trade mine in or sell it.

To all the workers in the making of the Camaro I simply can not express how much I appreciate what you built. And feel for your families for the loss of your jobs. But with any luck maybe they will bring back some of the discontinued vehicles that were well liked to Oshawa.

There are to people who like to get out and party with the Camaro groups & I really appreciate that they took the time to spend with us with all their other work.

Thanks too Mike Judge & Scott Shottimere

To all the hard working Canadians at the Oshawa plant, thank you for making the best car ever made here! I will cherish my 2010 Camaro for life and hopefully be able to past it down to my son. I hope to all of you that GM will find you a other car to built very soon. In the hopes that you will all past a Merry Christmas & happy new year!
Cheers from a satisfied Customer.
