I would also like to know if the manufacture did that for him. I will be ordering an SS and I was thinking of getting a V6 front 'cause I don't like the fake mailslot.

I ordered it through the dealer. It was painted and installed there, and the paint matching is impeccable, as it is black and only one GM paint code. I didn't order it this way from the manufacturer, it is an additional parts order, with additional paint and labour!
I am currently selling my 2LT front fascia, straight from factory, already painted UN-USED! PM me if your interested. Any more Questions? lol
