SS had a edge on the start. Gt500 won by a little. which taking the start into it was actually about 1 Length. which are both about where they should be. Problem with Stangs is they dont know what "turning" is.

wait.........what.........the wheel move side-to-side........dafuq.......

So for once GM has the handling advantage (1LE & ZL1 only) and now Mustangs are only good in a straight line? Sorry but my 2014 GT is more capable than my 2012 SS was and with the tires on the 1LE I think it's pretty obvious it'll hold the road better.

This is just from what ive seen in florida.when stock Winter time runs like a champ but traction issues. Summer time great traction but 10min after started the damn thing starts pulling timing. Do a back to back pull and significant timing pulled. Thats why I have a dual fan afco heat exchanger. Works wonders. Probably will get a killer chiller when imove to az though
Just do us other Mustang owners a favor and buy an import instead.

The S197 suspension set up is no worse than anything GM has right now. And up until the ZL1/1LE program they handled better than any other similar offering. In short a Track Package GT, Boss or GT500 handle better than 90% of drivers can. The fact that they're under-tired is juat that and nothing more.

I have 620rwhp with a vmp tvs.. I love my car the way it is and the drag radials hook really well. Sorry for stating facts that stock 2007-09 gt500s are pigs with a supercharger. Barely able to beat a ss camaro. With my pulley and tune combo before the tvs was amazing also for so little money. Like previously stated great platform to build off of. I love my car. Even when it was stock I did. Also found out the hard way of the facts im telling you. But if you want to go on and stay ignorant by all means do so... done talking to this knuckle head have a nice life.

I think this video says it all:

And it's a 2010 which has 40 more hp.

Well that pretty much answers you're question. Pretty close race if you ask me, and in the video discription he states that they ran again and he beat the GT500.

I just gotta ask did you have an import before the GT500?

You keep saying all this bullshit yet fail to mention that they were on par with the same year of Corvette. With that being said the same year C6 would trounce a Camaro.

LS2 C6 Z51 > Camaro
LS2 C6 Z51 = GT500
GT500 = Camaro

So have you ever ran a 2010-2012 GT500 in your Camaro, I did. The only hope to be had is that the GT500 won't hook. And if you go from a roll where that isn't a factor there is no hope at all.

Did I say that the GT500 was equal or slower? No, I said the video says it all. Meaning: you can watch the video and see how the two cars compare. IDGAF about how stock Camaros do honestly. It doesn't apply to me. My car is still slow, but quite a bit better than stock.
