When to get a tune?

I have never tuned a car before so I am not sure what to do. I have an axel back, CAI, black iceolator, and ported tb. Not sure if Ill ever get headers but maybe down the road. Am I able to get a tune now or will it not do me any good? And what are the numbers I should expect?

Thanks!

I would recommend a tune after messing with your a/f ratios like the CAI may do. If you get the tune now, ask if they do free adjustments for added mods like headers. If they don't, then I would wait. I re-tuned my car after 1200 miles driving with headers installed on old tune. Made a HUGE difference being re-tuned.

A tune will always do you good. For power estimate I would go to a dyno thread and see what others are putting down for your mods, could be 10 to 15 depending. But ill leave the guessing to others.

Don't waste your money on a tune until you get LT Headers.
