Thanks! I'm trying to get everything done at once while I have the car in the shop, but I am really starting to miss driving it! I'm currently installing a MGW shifter and taking out the Hurst. There's a couple reasons for this which I'll cover when I post up on the install.

Plenty of pics and some video (including a walk around of the car inside, outside and underneath) are coming in the future. I'm waiting to get into the paint shop (hopefully in the next two weeks or so) to do some painting on the carbon fiber parts. I'm going to leave some carbon fiber showing, but not too much of it.

These are available from any pinball parts supplier. Marco Specialties www.marcospec.com, Bay Area Amusements www.bayareaamusements.com you can order online from these two or you can call The Pinball Resource at (875) 473-7114. You need some 3/8", 7/16" and 1/2" white rubber rings. I had to play with different diameters and even stack two on the center trim stud to get everything right. On one, I sliced a 7/16 ring in two (I put up a pic of this).
However, since you were the first to ask about this I will send you an assortment for free if you will PM me with your name and address. Just to help out a fellow Camaro5 member.

Thanks. You do realize I'm just following your lead since I think you were the first to do this!

MGW shifter in in! I removed the Hurst that was in mainly because of the shift knob I wanted to install. It has an integral switch installed that I will be using for the line lock. New latest version of the MGW has some changes and improvements made to it. The feel and quality of this piece is excellant! A couple pics show how I reinstalled the factory dust boot. After trying to do it from below with limited success, I tried from inside the car. With the help of a long pair of needle nose pliers I was able to install it without too much difficulty.

By the way, I ordered my MGW shifter with the retro shaft assembly. The thread on this is a 12MM (same as a Ford Mustang). The shift ball I used is for a 4th gen Camaro and has the 6-speed shift pattern on it. I had a adapter bushing set from a previous installation that has several bushings in it (gold , blue, silver etc.). I used the black one. For once, everything fit with no hassles or modification!

I love the LED in the door handle, and I'm about to do the cupholders so it would look great, and as I was planning on replacing my door trim, its seems like a good time to do it... how hard was it to install the leds there?

i looked for a DIY but couldnt find one, any help ? Thanks

There's a DIY on the door LED's located here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125507 with a link to another DIY on the same subject. I'll be posting up a few pics on how I did the cup holder LED's and a console storage compartment LED in a day or so. I think PCOLASHAN did a DIY on how he did the cupholder LED's here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=138879.
