Went to Rodgers Chevrolet Meet n Greet today in Woodhaven near Detroit today:

VETERAN 1

Had a nice suspension talk from Pete of Pedders Suspension. I'm thinking about bushings!

Afterward, I stopped in Fowlerville for the American Car Heritage Weekly Car Show.
I was still the only 5th Gen.

I'm not sure if my new ram-air hood made the difference but; On my drive from Lansing MI to Detroit today and got some impressive mileage. 29.4 on the way down and 31.2 on the way back.

I don't think I ever saw my mileage do this well.

Hello Erick, I didn't see you at Rodger's until you were pulling out to leave. Wish I would have noticed you there so I could have caught up to you and talked.

I didn't know about your thread until 30 minutes ago.

Very nice job on all the mods.

Defiantly a nice well put together Camaro.

2 Year Aniversary Today!

So back to Bud Kouts Chevrolet and their annual Sparrow Hospital Hospice Benefit Car Show.

It was a drizzling start but the weather cleared up and the turnout was great! I'm glad I picked up my new wipers this week.

I checked out the Portland Cruisers today in Portland Michigan. Nice group. Mostly older cars:

They meet every Thursday in Portland 6pm to 9pm
They are organized and have several sponsors

Lansing 3, Detroit 25 - At least that's the number of 5th Gens coming from each city.
The show was great and it was exciting to see all the sweet looking rides. It was also nice to see GM's 45th aniuversary Camaro and the ZL1.

Al Openheiser took some time to talk to the fans about the new ZLI. I asked him how he felt about being part of the Camaro experience. He says "it's hmubling" to see peoples excitment.

My Favorite car!

Paul Meissen organized another great event.
