I paid 38,000 for the car, they can change the frigg'in battery every couple of years for me... if the dealer won't do it, find another dealer...

My wifes car is seven years old and has never had to replace the battery in her fob...

Just flip the key open, stick your fingertip in the groove where the key folds into, and pull. Very easy, it takes one CR2032 battery. If you have it on a key ring, it's better to remove the ring first.

Now you know what I'm always doing in my spare time. Damn Camaro that's all I think about anymore. Don't feel like going out anymore, just tinker on the car. Know it inside and out. Plus my key fob was sitting here, so I popped it apart. I really need to get a life away from this car.

if you need a custom engine cover, for no charge, I'll (at my own expense mind you) come up there, pick your car up, drive it back to texas, figure minus gas stops I could make it in 6 or 7 hours... and customize it like mine and return the car to you...

you get away from it for a little bit, back to normal life for a few days...
and I get the ride of my life....

Thanks for the info. I am sure that I will have to replace my battery at some time, now I know how to get to it.
