you know what's sad though. I was at an autoparts store a few months ago getting my alternator tested (even though I could have told them it was the problem). I got in and started it up and had to revv the engine up for the test. After I got back out the guy that worked there asked me "Is that a 350 or a 327"? I said neither. he goes "a big block? really?"  Who knew a 3.8 and a 396 sounded alike... I guess that's why I avoid that place at all cost now (for other reasons besides that)
