I personally prefer them more flush with the hood. The way these sit up a little higher just isn't for me. With that being said, it's your car so if you like it that's all that matters! You pay for it so do what makes you happy. Don't worry about any other opinions.

I didn't like them on the 1st gen...and I still don't like them.

But it's a matter of what you like.

If yor going to go Hood Vents, Either Hex Vents or ZL1 Hood extractor Vent.

Hex Vent or ZL1 extractor would be my choice also. More subtle. But...just my choice.
