BMR adjustable sway bars stiffness setting question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm installing BMR adjustable sways and my question is does anyone know what holes are for what settings? I want to set it for full stiff. Also, does anyone know the torque spec for the engine mount nuts underneath the frame? BMR suggests raising the engine 2" which is GREAT advise! Made the front sway removal and install a breeze! Thanks!

Maybe an autocross, not sure yet. BMR and Apex Chase recommended setting them full stiff to try first. If too stiff for the street I can always set it to medium. Problem is the BMR instructions don't show which hole is for what setting!

I just installed several BMR items and BMR is lacking on install instructions. They need to really step it up in that area.

To answer your question the stiffest setting is the last hole closest to the bar.

Beat me to it. I would suggest starting at the center hole and adjusting from there.

Is that true for both front and rear? And your correct about the instructions, they leave you guessing a bit! On the website it gives the stiffness for each hole by number but the sway bar itself is not numbered!??

That is correct anytime you move to the holes closer to the bar the stiffer it gets.

You guys are great! Thanks for the help! Today I installed the BMR front & rear sways, rear trailing arms, rear endlinks, and front radius rod inserts. Just gotta finish the front end links and tighten it all down tomorrow!

The only bad part with their end;inks is they are a little noisy over some bumps... Just make sure that you get the torqued to specs.

Yea, that's what I've heard! Problem is getting a torque wrench on the lower nuts on the rear ones. I got the top ones to 25 lb/ft ok. Fronts I'll do tomorrow!
