New Member - Greetings from Iraq!
Hi everyone, thought I'd get a jump on the forums. Name's Drew and I don't as of yet own a Camaro, but I'll be buying when I return stateside. Plan is to have a 2010 or 2011 1LT/RS in Black. I used to be a veteran over on ChargerForums and LXForums but sold my beloved 2006 Charger before leaving for Iraq. So, I know how useful these communities can be and I look forward to getting to know a lot of you, especially in the Georgia area. Plus, maybe you guys can let me know what mods are working for ya while I'm over here so I can build my shopping list and have a wonderful few months off when I get home!! (Sheesh, I don't even own one yet and I've got mod-itis all over again...

God Bless You and thank you for serving and protecting our country... Feel free to ask us any and all questions about our Camaros... I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE  mine...took delivery of VIN 7085 on 5/19/09, and it just gets better and better EVERY DAY!!!!...I haven't smiled this much in yrs...This car is the most amazing car I have EVER owned or driven, and that includes my '76 Firebird, and currently owned '95 Corvette that we bought 3 yrs ago... Every day feels like Christmas morning...  Stay safe over there and keep in touch with your new "forum family"...

Thank you all so much for the well wishes! I've already made my first notional "mod" I've decided to go with the 2LT instead of the 1LT, I want the Boston Acoustic system and the leather appointments, having them both loaded up the way I want, it's only about 2G's difference, so I figured it's smarter that way. I'm only a month and a half into my deployment, so I've got a ways to go, but all I can think about is this car and the absolute joy it will bring me to walk into the dealership and hand them my debit card... I've never owned a new car and the first one I'm gonna get is A.) A Camaro and B.) Going to be paid for in cash! I suppose the only question now is will it be a 2010 or 2011... Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome!!
