I would be interested too, however, I am taking that Friday off and spending it down on Woodward.

Okay, I hear the Woodward concern...I don't want to rehash this to much - so hopefully everyone will read and reply in good time, so we can let CGI know...
If we invited Camaro drivers out to Gingerman on MONDAY, the 4th, would that work better than the Friday of the Woodward Dream Cruise? The event usually runs from early morning until about 4 or 5pm...and costs somewhere in the neighborhood of $160-$190. We haven't discussed price just yet. Sadly, I foresee we're not going to be able to please everyone, but maybe we can cater to the majority - for what it's worth. |

Oh the pressure, Monday the 4th works for sure. Now just need to convince myself to say WTF and just DO IT.
I dropped the idea on my supporting wife. NP there. This will be the end of my current tires by the time I come off the track. New ones will be required soon after. Only other issue will be the helmet. I have 5 to choose from, all snowmobile ones, and not a one is a Snell approved. Any suggestions on an approved one that won't brake my bank account.

Yes yes yes!!! Let me try to figure out where I got mine. I'm sure you could google it and come up with something. I got mine from a race shop in Madison Heights. He had some in stock-snell helmet |

I want to find something locally to test fit it. Especially with my classes.

It sounds as though most people would be more comfortable with Monday the 15th. I've let CGI know, and as soon as I know pricing and times, etc....I'll post up a more formal "sign up" thread. Thanks guys - this is going to be fun!! |
