Open end is fine, It is not a lot of torque where you would need a Flare nut style.

Very tough to get to.
I'm done!!! The things sounds awesome! The streets were wet tonight so I couldn't do much at all without breaking traction.

Many thanks to all who helped with my questions, especially sykb47l who endured many questions I had. He also told me about the brass plug that was left out of the directions. Since this was my first install EVER, I thought the directions were pretty good, but they need to be updated for sure.

Issues I had (keep in mind I'd consider myself a novice at best) that I didn't see mentioned.
1. MAP sensor was a PITA to get in. I had to loosen the fuel rail to install it.
2. I had to make a couple trips to Sears to get tools to tighten down the 10 bolts holding the supercharger on. Two were really hard. I took a tip from sykb47l and took off the driver's side fuel rail to access the bolt behind the bypass valve.
3. Brass plug install after I had the radiator re-installed.
4. Cutting hoses in one step only to have to trim them again in another step after they were installed.
5. Installing the additional fuel line extension only to remove it to install the s/c coolant reservoir and the lines that attach to it.
6. No mention of tie wrapping the tube going to the EVAP solenoid to keep it away from the pulleys. It's pretty obvious it needed it, but you never know.

That's all I can think of now. I do love it though. Now I might have to spring for some way to dress up the engine again. I know some have modified the existing cover, and there are some aftermarket ones too.

I've been trying to think of a way to tell how the much different the ride is now. All I could think of is comparing it to riding in the passenger seat of a fast car. The car always seems to push you harder into the seat because you don't know when or how much power the driver will be asking for with the right foot. That's how I felt today just driving it in second gear. It was just amazing.

I noticed another thing that I didn't get re-installed quite right. When I was reinstalling the electric fans, I missed the slot on the passenger side lower part of the shroud. Since it wasn't held in place like it should have been, the fans were REALLY loud when they kicked on. I could tell the difference inside the car with the engine on. I simply unbolted them and installed them right this time. I guess because I wasn't aware of the slots is why I missed it. It's all better now though, nice and quiet.

Now you need some 315's on the rear so you can hook up....I got on the LS7 group buy so I can get a stock style 11 inch rim to add some meat to the rear. Goning to put the 275's on the front....

I'd love to get some wider rubber in the back and front. I just got the Hotchkis Track Pack, so the wallet is hurting bad. I've always wanted some custom wheels with a fat, shiny lip. My only issue is, well beside all the cash, is what color. Right now I'm leaning towards a black wheel with a shiny lip, but those LS7 wheels are really nice too. I bet I've looked at that thread 10 times.
