Cam help

I want some input on some parts, and need help and the right parts to order,
So do you prefer the 3 bolts cam and gears? And as i will not go much over .625 lift on the cam what are the right springs to use(I know to use Dual Spring Kit) I want to know do i go with Comp Cams 921 or the 925, or the Patriot Dual Spring, And do i want 10 degree Locks.

Let me know what you think, I want to get close to 480RWHP and hope for more, By the way this is my DD and i mean driver 50K on it now.

I think it's going to depend on your tune. A good tune can take a lot of bucking out of a big cam while maintaing high numbers. There are a lot of members with the G6X3 putting out high numbers who will also attest to its driveability. I'm going to be buying one in the next couple weeks but my car prob won't be done for another month or so.

I offer complete cam swap packages that have everything needed, 1 stop shopping.

You can get any cam you want with all the parts to make it right.

The only thing you need to add is oil and filter.

From what I have read, go 3 bolt. Another member had the single bolt cam and had some problems and then went to the 3 bolt. Definetly get the patroit springs too. I'm sure more people will chime in and help u.

springs

I would go with comp 921 if you can afford it or the newer technology but less money 926 kit.nothing else is needed. The kits have everything for springs.I have a G6X3 and comp said the 926 was a better spring.I dont know the difference.LG says they only use the 921 but hav not tried the 926.GOOD LUCK.I would run 3 bolt cam and deffinately wuld swap to chain dampner insted of tensioner. i need to rephrase that,Comp said they were a newer technology not better.

All of our Cam Kits are 3 bolt conversions.

Give us a call & we can discuss detailed power gains & options for putting together a complete package for you. We engine dyno test & develop all of our camshafts so we have a good idea how the different sizes compare & what camshafts will best suite each customers individual needs.

We also stock both the 3 bolt & 1 bolt camshafts in stock & have our own PRC line of valve springs that have been studied on a spintron to make sure the components will all work very well in your vehicle.

Before you make a camshaft decision give us a call, we'd love the opportunity to get you detailed pricing & specs for all the components.

With over 100 camshafts in stock at any one time I bet we have all the components you need to get this thing done!

We can also offer you mail order tuning for a couple hundred bux that will get the car ready to roll!!
