well if its released like any other vehicle, it will be released the same time they release every other new model, it will come out in the end of Sept/early Oct.

They have stated many times it will be available on dealer lots 1st Quarter of '09. And February was mentioned (don't feel like looking up the source) as the month.

It will be released just like the 2007 Tahoe/Excalade/Yukon 's were.

The 2010 Camaro will be available early 2009.

This is the truth.. spread it as gospel! The only thing that is keeping everyone from hearing it is a press release by GM.

I will still put my money on end of Sept or early Oct next year.
GM knows we've been waiting for this car for 7 years now, and like every other new model car they've released. it comes out in Sept/Oct of the year before its model year. so 09 camaro...Sept/Oct 08 release.

im tellin you all, put your money on it.

Except they're now calling it the 2010 Camaro. So by your reasoning, that would mean a Sept/Oct 09 release.:eek:

who's calling it a 2010 camaro? they have already said that they will release the vert as a 2010 model but the coupe is slated as an 09 model, because they

sorry, but it will be in released in Jan 09 , 30 Camaros will roll of the CANADIAN asembly line in Oct 08 and then production will go full tilt afterwards , this was quoted by a GM exec. I read that somewhere online I will try to find the site again , just think only a little over a year to go ..... sweet

I know all about the Jan. '09 date, that's GM's "safe zone" for the Camaro's release... But what I want to know is why would GM build 30 Camaro's in Oct. then hold tight for 3 months before resuming production? that sound right?
