Camaro5Fest Convoy from NC/SC

Yo Leo, does that route use GA-38 Hwy? I was getting directions from google maps, for comparisons sake, and that was one of the suggestions.

Just an FYI, I may be iffy for this caravan. I might be staying over in ATL that Thursday night and meeting up with the ATL convoy at Summit Racing on Friday morning. The closer we get the better I will know.

So far the Fayeteville N.C Camaro club has 5 people going down. Will probably be more as we get closer and members can solidify their calendars. We would like to cruise down with other convoys. Anyone have any info for us or a POC to contact?

But now I gotta back out of the whole event. I have to move into my new apt that weekend, because the other 3 are blacked out by weddings and birthdays :(

Sounds good. Would like to meet up and make the convoy even larger. EDOG from the main thread on the Camaro5fest thread seems to be putting together the northrn part of the I-95 list. We plan to join up with his group around Fayettevile NC and cruise down. Curremtly we have 5 cars going down from Fayetteville. Will be more I am sure. Maybe we could meet the SC group somewhere on 95.

do you guys know about what time you will be getting thru Ridgeland? we can set that up as our official meet up point to combine convoys.

I know we have a number of people in MD, DC, and Va who plan on going. I think it would be safe to start a location for those north of Fredericksburg. I think the entrance of Spotsylvania Mall in Fredericksburg would be a good meeting point for those north of exit 130B on 95south in Va.

Fredericksburg VA exit 130B off 95 southbound. Two lights on the left at Spotsylvania Mall in front of the main entrance. It has a large space for many cars.
Meet between 9am and 10am. Depart Fredericksburg on Thursday@ 10am.

meeting points afterwards (tentative: TBD as we get closer)
B...Emporia Va around 11:45am and 12pm if all is well on hwy.
C...interstate 95s and interstate 40 NC between 1:30pm and 1:45pm
D...interstate 95s and interstate 20 SC 3:15pm and 3:30pm Gas up and eat at Indigo Joes Sports Pub and Restraunt.
E...interstate 95S and interstate 26 SC 4:30pm and 4:45pm
F...Savannah Ga, get hotel and eat/socialize then sleep. 6:15pm and 6:45pm

Friday, depart Savannah Ga at 9AM to Valdosta.
Fla interstate 10W and interstate 295 beltway.
open to suggestion on other meeting points?

Drive to Savannah Ga, is 8 hours, and 4 to 5 hours to Valdosta GA.
